What a wonderful service. We held our Centenary Songs of Praise on Sunday 15th June at 3.00pm. It was attended by the Bishop of Manchester. The attendance was good considering the day we had picked ( we had not realised when arranging the date that it was Father’s Day). Some of the hymns were chosen by people from All Saints and they were asked to give a brief summary of why they had chosen their particular hymn. One hymn was the Bishop’s choice and he spoke at length as to his reasons for his choice. All in all it was a lovely service with everyone in fine voice. After the service tea and cream cakes were enjoyed by everyone.
